Amma Group initially set-up a partnership with Asprey International to supply coloured diamonds to the retailer. It was very quickly recognised that Amma Advisory services would also be beneficial to the company. Initially this took the form of regular sales training and a new international commission structure for the retail staff.

As with so many retailers, ageing stock can be problematic with money tied up and an inability to invest in product that could deliver the profitable growth desired. Therefore Amma Advisory set up an obsolescence programme to help reduce the ageing stock. Once this was done, Asprey International was able to invest in new products which were designed, sourced and manufactured through Amma Group. The Lotus Collection, as it was known, was a great success and completely sold out.

Finally, Amma Advisory ran regular educational programmes for top clients, UHNW and high net worth individuals with the focus on coloured diamonds and high jewellery pieces.

Amma Advisory was brought on-board to provide contextual information and training on coloured diamonds. Initially with mystery shopping and price comparisons from the world’s most important players in the coloured diamond retail market; Amma Advisory then followed up with presentations to the high jewellery division and sales training for the retail staff.

Following this, Amma has been involved in several collaborations on a number of high jewellery pieces which were designed and sold through Boucheron.

Knowing your company, means also knowing your competitors and the market you are in.

Amma Advisory was asked to perform qualitative research on Faberge and its main competitors. Through measured questioning the purpose was to build up a picture of the company associations and correlations, taking advantage of gaps and opportunities.

Following the presentation of our findings, Amma Advisory was also asked to run a number of in-store trainings of coloured diamonds for retail staff.
